Homecooked Demo v1.1
This version doesn’t add any new content, but provides some various tweaks in accordance with feedback we’ve received. People who experienced performance issues with v1.0 should now find some of those issues fixed.
-Changelog-
+Added a new control scheme using arrow keys/Z/X in addition to WASD controls. Both schemes can be used at the same time with no setup required. Both schemes are explained in the intro.
-Downscaled excessively large room assets and backgrounds for the sake of optimization. This should not be visually noticeable.
+Reworked the collision system to optimize performance and storage space, as well as add diagonal collisions.
+General performance optimizations. The recurring lag spike should be gone.
+Tweaks to the size and positioning of dialogue visuals.
+Tweaks to Cyprus's movement, and the skid mechanic.
-Lowered volume of crab bathroom music to provide for better toilet acoustics.
-Removed crab bathroom dialogue box bug.
+Improved readability of crab bathroom entrance door, and added signage.
+Resolved flickering pixel problem.
-Removed Herobean.
-Update on Mac Port-
Because of the associated difficulties of publishing an application to the OS, we’re going to delay this until, at the very least, the release of demo 2.0. Thanks, Apple.
